How should I care for my Campagnolo Shamal Mille Wheels?

The Plasma Electrolytic Oxidisation (PEO) coating on the Shamal Mille is a hard anodising process, which when used with the correct specific brake pads, gives superior braking performance and an overall slower rate of wear on the rim. These key characteristics of the PEO treatment are not affected by any wear of the grey surface colour of the rims. For best results take care to always thoroughly clean your Shamal Mille brake pads.

Campagnolo specifies in the user manual the partial removal of the surface layer of the rim braking surface does not reduce the braking efficiency and represents normal wear, and is therefore not covered by the warranty as indicated in the "Campagnolo limited warranty".
